Activities

The Major Jacob Gray Chapter, NSDAR is involved in various activities serving the local community such as providing education materials and presentations in local schools, supporting DAR schools, placing historical markers in areas of importance to the community, distributing flags at naturalization ceremonies, packing care packages for troops overseas, honoring our veterans here and abroad, volunteering at VA hospitals, placing flags at VA cemeteries, placing wreaths with Wreaths Across America, sponsoring American history essay contests, providing scholarships and awards to outstanding students and teachers, presenting patriotic awards to deserving individuals, and volunteering service hours to non-profits in our community.
